One hundred and eighty-two years ago Thomas Jefferson and John Adams, founding fathers and former Presidents of the United States, passed away. I have always carried a two-dollar bill to remind me of his inspiration - Jefferson was the first American polymath.

These weekend we lost one of the geniuses of Hollywood’s visual effects, Stan Winston. During his career he brought imagination to life in films like “A.I.“, “Aliens“, “Batman Returns“, “Edward Scissorhands“, “Jurassic Park“, “Predator“, “Iron Man” and won four Oscars doing so.
