The evangalists at Adobe have introduced a new version of Tour de Flex, which is available via an AIR application and web site. This is a great resource for Flex/AIR developers to see examples and code for the core Flex components, Adobe AIR, data integration, third-party components, effects, skins, and more.

Adobe has announced that it will begin to work with Google and Yahoo to improve indexing of SWF files. Google has already started indexing these files, and provided an interview with two software engineers on its Indexing Team.

If Microsoft acquires Yahoo!, will it end the Yahoo’s openness to Flash and Flex developers? (Since Microsoft has been trying to get it’s Flash competitor Expression off the ground, it might not want to continue sharing.)
