iCal and Google Start Syncing

If you have ever struggled with the different methods available to sync your Google calendar with Mac’s iCal, then Google has a treat for you! Google has released CalDAV support and provided instructions on how to get iCal syncing every 15 minutes.

    So how do we get it working with Google Apps? They mention it in the help files, but they don’t show the URL. I tried to hack it a few ways, but just got errors.

    Hey Doug,
    I was able to connect with my Google Apps using the following information. It automatically synced when I confirmed the data. I then tested it by adding an iCal event, which was synced to my Google Apps calendar.

    Username: bill@MyGoogleAppsDomain.com
    Password: [MyGoogleAppsDomain password]
    Server Options > Account URL:
    https://www.google.com/calendar/dav/bill@MyGoogleAppsDomain.com/user
