Rich Internet Application

The “A” in RIA stands for application, which many people forget when trying to apply good usability practices. This article defending Flex touches on the fact that usability for Web sites should not be applied to Web applications.

Although I’m not convinced this is a great idea yet, many of my friends have already embraced the OpenID technology. O’Reilly has a great article about the pros and cons of OpenID to help you cut through the hype.

Well the RIAA has released it’s list of the most egregious piraters of music – based upon the number of notices (threats) sent during the last school year. My alma mater Purdue University came up number 2 on the list behind the Ohio State University – go Big Ten!

iPhone Commercial

Tonight during the Oscars, Apple unveiled a commercial for their upcoming iPhone. Curiously, Even though Cisco and Apple appear to have settled their dispute over the name “iPhone” it never appears in the commercial.
